ChipBuilder is a story driven puzzle game about digital logic. You play a junior engineer at ChipCorp, learning to build a working computer from the ground up, one gate at a time. FEATURES Interactive Circuit Canvas Drag components from the palette, wire outputs to inputs, and watch signals propagate live as you build. Real Truth Table Verification Every circuit is graded against the actual truth table it should satisfy. No shortcuts, no guessing. Narrative Driven Lessons YOUR JOURNEY Chapter 1, The Spark of Logic: Learn the fundamental building blocks, logic gates that process 0s and 1s. Chapter 2, The Art of Combination: Combine gates into useful circuits, adders, multiplexers, and decoders. Chapter 3, Memory Takes Hold: Discover circuits that remember, latches, flip-flops, and registers. Chapter 4, The Storage Vault: Build memory systems, RAM, ROM, and address decoding. Chapter 5, The Brain's Calculator: Build the ALU, the arithmetic and logic powerhouse of the CPU. Chapter 6, Building the Brain: Assemble the complete CPU, program counter, control unit, and datapath. Chapter 7, The Language of Machines: Cross the hardware software boundary, machine code, assembly, and algorithms. Chapter 8, The Chip Architect: Master advanced concepts, pipelining, caching, ISA design, and build freely. 8 chapters. 32 levels. 1 working CPU, built by you, one gate at a time.
