The Journey Begins Eliot is a young apprentice whose world has been plunged into uncertainty. His Master has mysteriously disappeared from his alchemical workshop, leaving behind only chaos and a secret map leading to an ancient monastery. Meanwhile, a sinister Presence is searching for the Unwritten Book—a forbidden tome of immense power once entrusted to the Master. Guide Eliot through a mysterious fairy-tale world where every place hides secrets, every puzzle reveals a new piece of the story, and every step brings him closer to the truth. Why Play Occulto? A Point-and-Click Unlike Most OthersOcculto reimagines the classic adventure formula with a fully non-verbal narrative, environmental storytelling, and riddles where observation is more important than dialogue. Completely Hand-DrawnEvery background, character, animation, and detail has been illustrated by hand, giving the game a distinctive artistic identity. A Non-Verbal AdventureNo dialogue. No voice acting. No text logs. The story unfolds entirely through animations, visual storytelling, and comic-style thought bubbles. An Unusual AtmosphereA dreamlike world inspired by medieval Italy and the Middle East, filled with mystery, forgotten places, and strange encounters. Observation-Driven PuzzlesPay attention to your surroundings. The solutions are hidden within the world itself, encouraging curiosity and careful exploration instead of trial and error. A Truly Unique Visual StyleInspired by traditional illustration rather than modern game aesthetics, Occulto offers a handcrafted look unlike anything else. Features and Content to Expect By embarking on this journey, players will experience a fully realized interactive story that tests their deduction skills. Progress through the levels is achieved through NON classic adventure game logic—distracting characters, using magical items like a secret-revealing magnifying lens, and altering mechanical traps to access hidden sanctuaries. A Labor of Love Occulto is being developed by a dedicated three-person team passionate about taking the point-and-click genre in a different direction, creating an experience that feels fresh, unconventional, and unlike traditional graphic adventures. As our debut title, every background, character sprite, and animation frame has been completely drawn from scratch, offering a true "handmade" passion project born from our love for high-consequence puzzles and visual storytelling. Listen to the silence. Solve the mystery. Find the Master.
